THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

Sarah Palin and John McCain's campaign have stated several times that Palin is a reformer and she was against the "Bridge To Nowhere," even though it has been documented that she was originally FOR the project and when the ear marked spending was overturned in Congress and the project was cancelled, Palin said she was never for it.

Now it comes out (as reported on CNN this afternoon) Alaska has a "Road To Nowhere," built while Sarah Palin was governor.

The "Road To Nowhere" is a 3 mile long stretch of road leading to where the bridge would have been had Congress not killed funding for it in 2005. The price tag for the road? $26 million dollars. And nobody uses it. - CNN

I know $26 million dollars isn't a lot when you look at the big economic deficit the Republicans currently got us in, but a road that does nothing is just plain irresponsible!

One simple question: Do we want George Bush with a brunette wig running our country for four more years?
