Dave Matthews Band has always offered music I can listen to - literally 24-7. My old roommate Chris learned that quickly and just as quickly started to hate the band due to me listening to it constantly. And last night I confirmed this same situation has happened once again...John now hates Dave!
Listening to this band perform every night after my college classes and at every party we had was way over board and it was very understandable why Chris didn't want to listen to "Under the Table And Dreaming" again.
Most recently, through a CD I bought at Amoeba Records in San Francisco, I've been playing Dave just about every time we get in the car for the last 6 months. Yes this is a little too much - ok way too much.
Their hatred is understandable, but I have to say - I will never change. I'm completely in love with this music because it has helped me through good times and bad!
