BEAVER WAXING IN NEW JERSEY: NO! NO! NO!

I first heard about this story from John. He listens to this radio show on his hour drive to work in the morning and always passes along celebrity news he hears from the show. Apparently New Jersey may ban the Brazilian bikini wax, as it may be a health hazard.

New Jersey's Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling will meet next month to decide whether to ban the full beaver waxing, a procedure that helps accommodate skimpy thong bikinis.

According to The Philadelphia Daily News:

"The proposal was prompted by complaints from two women who were injured and hospitalized. The AP quotes skin care experts as saying genital waxing can be dangerous in that the hot wax can irritate or tear delicate skin in the bikini area, resulting in infections, ingrown hairs and rashes."

Because of two complaints the poor woman of New Jersey may have to go across state lines to wax their beaver. I think they should have stricter guidelines for those applying the treatment, not ban the procedure entirely.

Although, if this passes, I would enjoy watching a protest of woman who are angry they can't get a Brazilian wax. It would be a sight to see, angry New Jersey beavers uniting for their right of NO HAIR - DOWN THERE!
