Jennifer Hudson sang with such passion last night. She picked up her first Grammy for best R&B Album. In her speech she thanked her family in heaven and those still on earth. YES, I BALLED LIKE A BABY! She just slowly tugs at my heart strings whenever I see her - she can do no wrong in my eyes. Her whole story of coming from the ghetto and rising up from adversity to take on challenges like being eliminated from American Idol and coming back with a performance of a lifetime in Dreamgirls. I love this girl!
Her mother, brother and nephew were murdered just months ago in Chicago. This was her first major performance since the killings. She offered an amazing performance and totally moved me with this song.
Jennifer, I am pulling for you girlfriend, keep up the great work - you are turning into a such a remarkably talented performer!
