SAN FRANCISCO VOTED #1 CITY BY CONDE NAST TRAVELER READERS

Condé Nast Traveler recently announced that its readers have voted San Francisco as the #1 city to visit in the United States for the 16th year in a row. Over 32,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers participated in the 2008 Readers’ Choice Survey, and the complete award results will appear in the November issue and on the magazine’s website at cntraveler.com.

Results from the 2008 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award for top U.S. cities to visit include:

1. San Francisco

2. Charleston, SC

3. New York City

4. Santa Fe

5. Chicago

6. Carmel

7. Honolulu

8. Savannah

9. San Diego

10. Sedona

I should try to explore Santa Fe this year and maybe Carmel...since I now live on the west coast.

Glad to see Chicago is in 5th place, it will always be # 1 in my heart.

AND...I can't wait to see Honolulu over Thanksgiving break...going with John for our anniversary - woot woot!
