A SERIOUSLY LARGE BOWL OF "REALITY STEW"

The Hills stars (and newlyweds-to-be!) Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, whom PEOPLE can confirm will be participants in NBC’s new incarnation of the reality show I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here!, struck a pose with former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich Thursday in Los Angeles.

A judge ruled earlier this week that Blagojevich, who had hoped to participate in the show, will not be allowed to leave the country while still under investigation in his home state. The ex-governor flew to Los Angeles to help promote the show anyway.

At a press conference Friday, NBC announced that Janice Dickinson, Stephen Baldwin, John Salley, Idol’s Sanjaya Malakar and professional wrestler Torrie Wilson will be joining Spencer and Heidi at the jungle location in Costa Rica for what the network called “the ultimate Swiss Family Robinson.”

Blagojevich was on hand for the announcement and expressed his disappointment with not being allowed to participate. “Sometimes life’s journey takes you on a series of paths you never expected,” he told reporters. “I look forward to having the opportunity to prove my innocence but at same time, I’m interested in trying to pursue a way to earn a living. Originally, I was skeptical [about appearing on the show] but after talking to producers, I was a little more interested.”

Blagojevich is in heaven - getting media buzz - his ego's overly bloated with this kind of attention. I would have loved to see him in this show, this desperate politician would be GREAT TV. But how embarrassing would that be for Illinois? YIKES!

I took a facebook poll the other day. Which 5 celebrities would you like to punch in the face? I picked: George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter Sarah Palin, and Elizabeth Hasselbeck - for some reason Rush and Ann got paired together so I got 6 - sweet! 

Now I've decided after I punch those people in the face, I want to throw a shoe at everyone sent to this crazy island! It's going to be a very entertaining reality show - so excited!

BLAGOJEVICH WEEK ON TV, GET OUT YOUR POPCORN AND TUNE IN!

Blago is bringing "his dog and pony show" around to the major media players starting Monday; this should be very interesting. He’s set to do a series of national television interviews, including ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “The View,” and CNN’s “Larry King Live.” I just read he is comparing himself to Ghandi. This guy is truly unbelievable with his EXTREME narcissism. Talk about needing an ego check - this guy is a total whack job.

Potty mouth Patti lost her job too. She was making a $100,000 working a development job for a non-profit shelter. This must be a hard deal for this family - having to come to the realization that you were on the very top of the social ladder and now you have moved to the very bottom, hitting every bar on the way down.

Are they going to get what they deserve - if so what would that be? Prison for the both of them? They both committed crimes - it's just going to be interesting how it's going to all pan out.

He got his pants pulled down in front of the entire nation and now he has hired Drew Peterson's PR firm to schedule some interviews this week. This should be an interesting week, I am looking forward to hearing his lies and I am hoping he gets caught with his tail between his legs!

Potty mouth Patti made a few truckers blush with her choice of words that were recorded by the US Attorney's Office.

“Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested Tuesday for what U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald called a "political corruption crime spree" that included attempts to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President-elect Barack Obama.

Blagojevich and Harris were named in a federal criminal complaint that alleged a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy aimed at providing financial benefits to the governor, his political fund and to his wife, First Lady Patricia Blagojevich.

Blagojevich was taken into federal custody by FBI agents at his North Side home Tuesday morning—one day shy of his 52nd birthday.”

I knew he was going to jail and it was just a matter of time, in fact I called this happening in early October. They were waiting for Obama to take office. And of course Blagojevich had some time to keep up his “dirty politics as usual” that he was already in hot water with and they finally nailed him with a large number of dirty deals.

U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald described the corruption by saying that, “(Abraham) Lincoln must be turning in his grave.” It’s such an Illinois “state” reference – the “Land of Lincoln.”

Fitzgerald also quoted a Blagojevich conversation in which the governor said the Senate seat is "a bleeping valuable thing. You just don't give it away. ... I've got this thing, and it's bleeping golden."

When I laughed out loud at this, here in my cube in San Francisco, people came rushing over to find out was so funny. When I explained it to them, they kind of looked at me like I was crazy. I said, “You have to know about Chicago politics to understand!” Seriously, you do!

Thirteen pages of the 76-page criminal complaint lay out detailed allegations of the governor using his power to seek the firing of Chicago Tribune editorial board members as a condition of state financial assistance in connection with the home of the Cubs. Tribune Co. also owns the Chicago Tribune.

The conversations they recorded also revealed Blagojevich feeling "stuck" as a sitting governor and him spending time weighing his options on whether he should appoint himself to the U.S. Senate vacancy. He wanted to avoid impeachment as Gov. and thought it would help remake his image for a potential 2016 run for the presidency. What a freaking narcosis.

Pay to play politics went REALLY too far here and I can’t wait to see how it all unravels. Will his wife Patti go with him to the slammer?
