LEE DEWYZE WINS AMERICAN IDOL

I screamed in excitement when he won. The pups jumped on my lap and covered me in kisses to make sure I was alright and then they laid out on my lap and slept until I was ready for bed. Sweet night, glad someone from where I grew up won the show this year!

WHAT I LOVE THIS WEEK!

American Idol was pretty lame this year, with one exception...Chicago's favorite paint store clerk - Lee DeWyze.

His confidence steadily built up as the season went on and his rustic-manly voice is perfect for the radio. Whether he wins the whole shebang or not, I'm excited to hear more from him in the future!
