This morning John and I found an advertisement on facebook.com promoting a lecture by CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday in Newark Delaware - 45 miles from our house - and I bought a ticket. I'll be going alone since John is traveling to Vegas for work.
I'm REAL excited about attending this lecture! I want to ask him what he thinks of the two states - Vermont and Iowa - now allowing gay marriage and when he thinks the entire country will give equal rights to all of its citizens. Hopefully I will be able to get a decent picture of him/meet him. He is someone I really respect - even though he hasn't come out officially - I know he bats on my team and has but together a very successful career in journalism. It would be awesome to meet him!
